Michael Altman

Executive Chef/Owner Michael Altman is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, and began his career advancing within the fine dining kitchens of Manhattan, NY. Having honed his skills at restaurants such as Cafe des Artists (Chef Thomas Ferlesch), Aureole and Kitchen 22 (Chef Charlie Palmer), he moved to Miami in 2005, serving as Executive Chef and Managing Partner at Town Kitchen and Bar in South Miami for 13 years. Michael is thrilled to return to this very same location in South Miami with Kitchen 57. 

Along with his wife Cari (who is 3rd generation Miami-born), Michael takes pleasure in serving the community in which he and his family are rooted.
